Besides presenting your methods (virtually) on the L2R Challenge workshop on October 8th as part of the MICCAI 2020 satellite events (details will follow soon), we would also like to give you the opportunity to publish your work and thus, make it available for the medical image registration community for the long term.
All participants of the L2R challenge may submit a short paper (up to 4 pages) describing their challenge contribution. Submissions should follow the Springer LNCS format and will go through a lightweight review process. Accepted papers are published as part of the LNCS MICCAI 2020 Workshop postconference proceedings. The deadline for submissions is October 16th.
We encourage authors of novel contributions to extend their short papers (see above) and submit to MELBA (The Journal of Machine Learning for Biomedical Imaging), a new web-based journal devoted to the free and unrestricted access of high quality articles in the broad field that bridges machine learning and biomedical imaging. See the homepage for additional information: https://www.melba-journal.org.
Challenge Overview Paper
Top ranked teams (for single tasks and overall performance) will be invited to contribute to a challenge overview paper, which will be submitted to a high impact journal (MedIA/TMI). Invitations will follow in the weeks after the workshop in October.
